This morning the girls actually slept in and we had to wake them up at 9 to go to Lowes and to the kid's craft. It was a Frankenstien Magic Box. They had a lot of fun. After that we took them to my mom's house. My parents took them to the local Pumpkin Patch, and I'm sure they did some baking and other fun stuff. Randle and I however, got the whole rest of the day to ourselves. YEAH!!!!!!
We went to a garage sale, J and J Junk, ate lunch at Wings, saw the new (latest, it's been out for a while) Harry Potter, got ice cream and came home to watch a Monk episode on Hulu and relax. It was great! We got some really good books at J and J, and found a great idea for Zbinden Christmas gifts! It was so nice to have more than just a couple of hours before bedtime to spend with Randle. I love my kids, but alone time with the hubby is GREAT!

That's great that you two had such a time time together! Next time you go to the Lowe's craft day with the girls let us know. We've taken David before and he liked it but would have much more fun going with friends. One year I went to J&J Junk to find jars for the apple butter I make and I bought every single one they had (about 40 jars)....since then I've only been able to pick up 2 or 3 each visit...so I guess I lucked out that one year.
