Leaving Indiana

Well , the time has now come and we are leaving Indiana and heading south to Alabama. While we will be happy to see our family and friends that are there we are very sad to be leaving some here. Tonight we went to the Grepke family's house to have one last gathering. We have so many incredible and supportive friends her it is hard to leave. It feels as if we are leaving family here too. We will load our truck tomorrow and leave after church on Sunday. We will miss our Indiana family greatly. This is a big change in our girls lives and we appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers from everyone. Where Natalie understands a bit more than Harley she has already began to process the changes. Harley however has known nothing but Indiana. Alabama will be quite a shock I think. Because all of her encounters have been for visits centered around grandparents I'm afraid to her it is a bit like Disney World, a magical place where people focus on her all day long. I'm afraid a wake-up call followed by several fits and time-outs are to come. Natalie will attend Chelsea Park Elementary (a public school). This will be the hardest thing for her. She can't imagine a school where you don't have religion as a subject and you don't have chapel. I pray that she gets a strong Christian teacher and befriends someone who loves Jesus as she does. Thank you again to all our friends in Indiana we love you and will miss you. We are already trying to work out a visit. We will stay in touch!
